Jackery Explorer 5000 Plus Protective Cover

I ordered the home backup with a battery pack expansion. The installation with the contractor went smooth and I have it on standby. I tested the system by disengaging the grid with the result that it immediately engaged the backup. With the unreliability of the grid to maintain electricity to the house even when the storms are not existent, this gives piece of mind and the solar panels also gives a means to charge when the grid is disconnected although it does charge at a slower pace.

Living in south west Michigan, haven’t had a chance to set up my Jackery and connect the solar panels. It’s snowing with not to many sunny days in January. Can’t wait for spring for I bought all this Jackery for my Montana 5th wheel camper. Don’t like paying for camping with these campgrounds over priced. Hopefully my investment of solar will allow us to boondock. Blessings
