Casts well!

Fell down the "red bait in Winter" rabbit hole and bought this in Lava Craw in the 7/16 ounce size. Most of my casting jigs are 3/8 ounce but, I'm a bank fisherman who needs to reach those deep waters where the bass are in Winte so, I went for some distance. I paired this with a red Strike King Rage Menace Twin Tailed Grub and caught one on my second cast. I haven't caught one since so, the jury on red lures is still out.

I bought this jig last year and finally pulled it out for use today. Wish I would have sooner as I landed this 3lb bass on my second cast in a local pond. It is getting cold here in November and this size jig is perfect for when the weather turns colder and the bass are looking for smaller meals. Used the lava craw color and paired it with a ZMan 3 inch minnowZ in calico candy to cut through the murky water. The swim action on this jig is really good and the eyes look great.
