C3 Catfish Special Round Reel

Misleading color and disappointing customer service I ordered five of these reels because I already own two older C3 Catfish Specials that are black and wanted everything to match. The online photos make the new reels look black, but the reels I received are actually a gray/gunmetal color. The color description only says “Custom,” so there was no clear warning that they would be gray instead of black. I contacted Abu Garcia because I felt the pictures and description were misleading. They offered me a 20% discount on a future order, but that does nothing to resolve the issue with the five reels I already purchased. The reels may perform well, but I am extremely disappointed with the inaccurate product presentation and the solution offered.

Love it! I own a few Abu Garcia reels this catfish special is a great product.

Great price for a great reel! And one of the ambassador C3’s are tough as nails.
