686 Men's Platform Bike Short

Wish they worked for me, sizing is small.

Got on a sale, and can't return, unfortunately. Material seems nice, length is on point. I wish there was a second full zip pocket on the right side, just like the left side. Ordered a 32 waist, which 686 pants fit me in, but these seem to run small for me there. They're closer to a 30.5-31 for me, measured. Gifted to my brother.

Great materials and craftsmanship, as always, and fit is fantastic. I expect these will shed water nearly instantly, as is the case with previously purchased DWR treated clothing from 686; the water treatment does seem to fade fairly quickly if you launder items (even using gentle detergent), so I would expect to need to update the DWR a few times per year..

I have always wanted a proper pair of biking shorts and these are it. The branding is on point. They fit larger than most other offerings by 686, but that is to be expected for an active piece of clothing. They sit below the knee with a longer inseam than the cargo, or lightweight. Everything is perfect, from the zip pockets, to the material to the color, to the waist size, to the comfort level. Im very happy with these shorts.
