Velotric T1: The Perfect Blend of Style, Power, and Practicality
The Velotric T1 is a fantastic e-bike that checks all the boxes. It looks great, rides smoothly, and has plenty of power to handle hills and long rides. The battery lasts for miles, and the controls are super easy to use. It’s perfect for commuting, casual rides, or running errands, and the build quality feels solid and reliable. The added features like lights and puncture-resistant tires are a big plus. Velotric also has excellent customer service, which makes the experience even better. If you’re looking for a stylish and reliable e-bike, the T1 is a great choice!

I love my T1!
This review is after riding over 200 miles on the bike. Major pros for the bike include: First and foremost, it is a well designed bike. Velotric has done a good job of optimizing performance versus weight versus battery management. I am routinely getting 50 miles per charge (without using the range extender battery). here in Northeast Florida using city mode averaging 16 mph. And when I am done with my ride, I have the option of strapping my bike on a regular bike rack on the back of my sedan to drive home with no issues what so ever. The frame is very stiff and does a a good job of translating the power I put on the pedals through the transmission system into forward motion. Shifting gears is very reliable as I have noticed only 1 error in shifting in the 200 plus miles I have ridden the bike. The brakes are quiet, feel solid, and do a good job of providing stopping performance. The bike is quite capable of being ridden without pedal assist. I completed the first 7.5 miles of a 16.5 mile ride without pedal assist. As previously stated, I typically average around 16 mph for my rides in city mode. Without pedal assist, my average dropped to between 12-13 mph which is acceptable to me. The bike is also pretty quiet when the motor is engaged. I have had several people ask me about my bike not realizing it was an e-bike. When told it was an e-bike, the look on their faces is quite satisfying for me. Now some constructive feedback for Velotric: When I first assembled my bike, I had some issues with getting the firmware to update. I had to wait until the bike had sufficient cell reception before it would complete the initial firmware upgrade. I have not checked for any recent firmware upgrades, and maybe a recent upgrade has corrected this issue. The trip meter and the odometer readings in the IOS version of the Velotric app are inaccurate. For example, a known distance of 7.2 miles records as 5.5 miles in the app. This is not a large issue for me because I use a different cycling app with sufficient accuracy. While the paint job (crystal black) is beautiful on my bike, there are several places (top tube/down tube meeting the head tube) where the welds could be better sanded. While the look is sufficient for me, I think a little extra effort here could improve the visual appeal of the bike. The suspension seat post I received as part of the packaged bundle is not providing me with the results I was seeking. The post is too stiff and I am getting very little deflection with my 180 lb frame. I have tried adjust the post in every way possible and it just does not work for me. Finally, I am very happy with my purchase. I also had the opportunity to engage support and I was pleased with the responsiveness of the support team. I own several other brands of e-bikes and if anyone asks for my recommendation of a brand, Velotric will be at the top of the list of my recommendations. Well done to the Velotric team!

Four and a half stars.
I purchased this as my second E-bike, I wanted something smaller and lighter that makes the rider work a bit more. This bike does exactly that. I added a suspension seat post, upgraded the pedals, and put on some handlebars with a bit more rise. I really like the bike for rides out to about 30 miles, for trips beyond that I will ride the bigger bike because it is much more comfortable (suspension, fat tires, etc)
