Really Like These Pants

They are incredibly comfortable and I like the look. The ponte fabric adds a nice structure and the merino is so breathable. I have these in black and added the blue. I typically wear an XL but sized up in this as I felt more comfortable with the way it hangs over my middle section. I did notice, however, that this blue one is a tiny bit bigger in the rear than the black one. I have also noticed pilling where my thighs rub together. They are small, tight pills so the pants are still very wear-able. Overall, I love wearing these pants. And appreciate such a comfy, stylish look in such a quality fabric.

Feel wonderful but not flattering!

I’m 5’4” and 145 lbs - athletic build. I got the medium and they fit beautifully. The fabric is yummy and soft, but I don’t feel fancy in them. I’ve worn them around the house trying to decide if I should keep or return. My prob is the pant leg is SO wide… I love petite options for length but it would be awesome if this pant style was a little less fabric in the leg. Almost too wide on me- I feel sloppy :( I was hoping this could be a work pant for every day and dress it up with a suit jacket or nice top for conferences. Just not sure yet. I got the regular length so I could wear in the cold MI winters as a pant and roll the pant leg in the spring and summer. As for a comfortable lounging pant- YES- most expensive comfortable lounging pants ever!

Almost Prefect: New Back Darts = Size Up

I own the XL original version of the higher wool culottes in olive green size XL without the back darts. They fit perfectly and I love the higher wool content fabric. So I measured my waist at 36” to 37” and reordered size XL as per the size chart in Size XL navy. I love the color, but dislike the higher polyester vs wool content. It is not as soft and is less breathable. Worse, the waist runs tighter, so I am going to exchange for size 1X. I would suggest Wool& go back to the higher wool content and increase the waist size to make up for what was lost for when back darts were added. Also, please add back the lovely dark teals like oceanic so we women are not limited to only black and navy. Defintely size up if you are close to the upper waist measurements on this item.
