The boot as a whole is always great. My 3rd pair and not much changed from year to year. Leather is good quality. Buckles & eyelets will last the year as long as you’re not rough on your boots, but that’s expected because the leather is thinner. So don’t pull super tight to cinch down or leather may rip or eye let pull out. This pair my only complaint was brand new open the box and unwrap the boot and the bottom sole was peeled off from the toes going backward. Contacted pleasers and they handled it efficiently and professional. I will still buy another pair next year. The boot is an amazing attention getter when you step into a room commanding the spot light!

Great material and fit

The material is fantastic and gives you a lot of height with the heel without sacrificing ankle support.

Breathless

The first thing I noticed when I opened the box is that these boots are HEAVY. The second thing I noticed is that they would be a lot heavier if the vegan leather wasn't super soft and supple. The third thing I noticed was that I had been holding my breath since I opened the box without even realizing it. These boots literally took my breath away! And that was before I spent a good 30 minutes carefully threading the ribbons through the eyelets while the base of each boot rested between a pair of pillows on the edge of my bed. It was before I slid my feet into the boots, pulled up the zippers, tightened the laces, and buckled the straps. It was also before I stood up in these sky high works of art and took my first few tentative steps. Even now, just thinking about the boots, I find myself a little bit breathless. They. Are. AMAZING.
