My first pair were 7 inch non sticky versions of these since I was a newbie, these are a great upgrade. Mostly purchased them because my regular boots (opened toe, 8 inches) were not comfortable when I started doing more heel clacking classes. These are great! They are true to size, and for me comfortable out of the box. I'm typically a 8.5 shoe size, 9 for all pleasers including sandals works for me. I tend to feel like I have a wider toe box and they still fix true to me at 9.
