Organic Reed Avocados

Buttery!

We absolutely enjoyed our Reed avos! Fast delivery was impeccable and the avos were very tasty, buttery as expected. The only reason why we gave a 4 star instead of a 5 star because there were markings on the avos, we didn't know if they were teeth markings etc . . so we prayed, crossed our fingers and consumed,lol . . . . . hopefully, we will have a better aesthetic presentation on the next order?

Bitter aftertaste Not peak season in California? Not first time I had this issue. Seems to be a problem with D farms. I had read so much about reed avocado and was disappointed

Reed Avocados and Avocado Oil

We ordered avocado oil and Reed avocados to try, being skeptical of the shipping process,especially for avocados which get tender in just few days. When we opened the package, we were pleasantly surprised by the thoughtfullness of a person putting our order together. Each avocado was individually cushioned to ensure that it will stay unbruised in transportation. All 5 of them came out of the box green (just like Reeds are supposed to be) but with dark spots. In the past we tried to buy Reeds in Whole Foods and were disappointed by the quality (they had to be thrown out). Dickinson's avocados ripened very well, and despite gaining more spots as time went by, each fruit was in great condition when cut open. And they were delicious! Meaty and smooth. As for the oil - we will never go back to store bought again! The taste, color, viscosity ... so different!
