Excellent Writing Quality Straight From the Box

This is the first time I have bought a nib independently from the pen. Some years ago, I bought a pen at a show made by an Indie creator. I really like the way it fits my hand, but the nib it came with was particularly wet, which wasn’t great for everyday writing. I decided to try the Medium nib from the Adventurers set. Like all Ferris Wheel Press items, it comes beautifully packaged. The Lord H.H. Evergreen nib arrives in a nice tin, printed with FWP characters. The text reads “Our love story is a handwritten masterpiece, penned with ink dipped in the hues of our shared moments.” The sentiment is charming and old worldy, as is the illustration. Inside the tin, the nib is nestled in a nice paper tray, also featuring the animal Adventurers that represent the nib sizes. The nib itself is two tone and features a likeness of Lord Evergreen. His little crown is even gold. Fully assebled with the feeder, it was super easy to install into my pen. I added a new fill with Bayou Berry Mist (no sparkle or shimmer for the test pass). It immediately wrote with nice smooth action. The strength of the ink was exactly what I was hoping for. The line is bold without being too thick. I’m so pleased I decided to try this nib.

Love the feel of this nib! Fine was great, but EF… my goodness, you just have to try it! The tin is also very adorable. My wife loves it. I’m excited to pick up more nibs now!

The double broad line really allows each ink’s depth to come through. Beautiful!
