I am very happy with my front and rear dashcam purchase. I'm not savvy with installing things, but when I had it installed my satisfaction grew. The app makes access to videos very simple. The video quality is excellent. I feel more secure driving with this dashcam. I highly recommend.

Great dashcam, but not truly plug & play on Jeep Renegade 4xe (ACC only 5 V)

The dash cam works well and the image quality is good. However, on my Jeep Renegade 4xe 2022, the installation is not as “plug and play” as expected. The dome light connector provides only 5 V on the ACC line instead of 12 V, so the camera doesn’t power on from there. It seems this issue affects only the Renegade 4xe hybrid, probably because Jeep reduced the ACC line to 5 V for energy-saving reasons. The camera itself works perfectly if powered directly from a 12 V source (like the fuse box or battery), but it can’t be installed quickly via the overhead plug on the 4xe model.

It's a piece of cake to install and has worked flawlessly since the install. It's easy to download videos using the app or pulling the card. Looks factory and is very easy to miss.
