R8 Core 5100-4FB

I've exclusively used Sage rods for over 15 years. This R8 os by far my favourite rod Sage has made yet. Everything from the quality of the rod, casting, and even fighting fish on it feels perfect. Wouldn't change a thing.

Put it to work last week on the San Juan, loved it. Smooth and quick haven’t fish it with dry yet, not much dry fly action where I am, but I think it will be good.

Sage new R8 Core 510

R8 510 rod is a powerful rod with great ability to have a nice mend. It is a very light rod. I generally like to fish a longer rod for distance and mending.
