Black and White long kimono

I LOVE my black and white zebra kimono. It makes me feel like a Goddess when I wear it. My only critisizism is that it is very long. I'm 5'4 and it's about 10 inches too long. I haven't hemmed it yet but I have found that if I belt it (I have a black silk belt) and puff it out above the belt I can get the length to be ok. It's not ideal though and I should hem it but I wish they wouldn't make them so long.
