easy to install and works as intended

Great product. For $20, it has great build quality and comes with all the tools necessary. The cable itself is really high quality. I was just fine using a regular usb-c cable for my gt-neo but the maglink connection is much more secure and convenient. Installation was straight forward too.

Mixed feelings

On the one hand, what this cable allows you to is brilliant, it’s great being able to mix and match ecosystems, On the other hand - the cable itself is faulty, only registering as being plugged in (and only if wrapped around the wheel stalk first) roughly 1/4 times and easily disconnects when rotating right, but worse still, when installing the plate to my brand new neo wheel, the usb pin connector caused the female usb connector on the sim neo to literally fall apart. I’m not sure if it was mis-shapen or the plastic was just unbelievable brittle giving way under minimum force, but having connected connectors like these a thousand times over the last 30 years without issue to say it was frustrating is an understatement. It straight up nearly broke the wheel before I used it in a way that any retailer is reasonably gonna write off as user error. Simagic should really investigate using ANYTHING a little more dependable as far as connecting the plate to the wheel goes Also mentioning in the documentation that it pretty much NEEDS to be plugged in via a powered usb hub would have been helpful, looking online I wasn’t the only person who thought it was completely broken out the box
