Ensure to size up

I have ordered a pair of gloves knowing that the product description recommended to size up. I normally have an 11' on my hands and upgraded to XL gloves so they would fit. However, these are way to small - It is a pity as I would have really liked the use of these gloves in the Swiss Mountains. I have now handed them to a friend and he loves them.
