Best outer layer for riding

Doesn't get too hot on the climbs, keeps the mud spray off you and keeps the core warm and protected from the wind. Don't ride without this in the winter now. Fit is great - I went for a Large which is the same size as the akta jerseys I wear. Is on the bigger side without anything underneath, but leaves room for hoodies or back/chest protection for dh laps. Love it.

When it’s not cold enough for a full jacket but not warm enough for just a jersey. This vest is perfect, just the right amount of coverage from light rain, mud and dirt. Keeps the torso temp in check, I didn’t think a vest needed extra ventilation, but it’s very appreciated. Materials are light, and the construction is premium. No cut corners in production. Highly recommend! I'm 5'11" 180lbs and bought a large - fits like a glove!

AKTA Trail Vest

I bought the trail vest a couple weeks ago and I have to say it’s my new go to. I’ve been struggling to find a replacement for my Kitsbow that has seen too much trail time. This vest is the perfect weight, fits great and looks even better. It sucks that we are both victims of this dumb tariff war but I didn’t let that stop me and I’m glad about it.
