Urban Ex 20L Pack

Great bag

This bag is slightly larger - I think 2 L bigger - than my old version from 12 years ago. I like having the laptop padding/compartment in it which I did not have before. The old had a zip pocket at the top near the opening that was larger and more functional that I kept wallet, passports and badge in. The new has one on side pocket and because I carry two passports it’s now only big enough for that so slightly less functional. But the laptop slip has pockets for pens etc that make up for it. Because it is bigger I can fit more. I like the magnet the top as well that I did not have before. The fabric seems less hefty but I can’t say it’s not as strong g, it just does not feel the same. The fit/comfort of the bag is the same and by that I mean it’s very comfortable to carry full, the straps are close enough they don’t constantly fall off. My previous and this one are the lost comfortable backpacks I have to carry. And since they are with me ALL the time that is the key feature for me.

Perfect bag for commuting to work. Laptop sleeve is well padded and keeps my things dry. The external loops hold a bike lock making it easily accessible and reserving more room in the bag for your other gear. The internal organization is adequate but not excessive and this is a relatively simple bag. Some have mentioned the crinkly nature of the material but i dont find it that distracting.
