All other bulb planters I looked at were solid and didn't have the release mechanism. This one is great!

time saver and consistent

I used this to transplant my seedlings in their newspaper pots to my garden, as well as plant seed potatoes. Helped me get a consistent sizing and spacing for my plants. I thought digging little holes wasn't worth getting a unitasker for, but in fact I use this little tool all season.
