Good Overall

Nice, modular safe. Pretty simple and straightforward assembly, although I had to assemble in place unlike like how the instructions wanted via tilting it up. No biggie though, just take your time. As much as I like doing everything myself, two people are needed for moving the doors and back into place - they are just too heavy for one person. My spouse was able to help but the weight was at her limit. Personally, I think the doors don't need as many solid locking cylinders and removing those could shave the weight down without affecting security. One thing I will critique though is the included assembly instructions are not specific to this safe but the smaller single door one. Assembly is logical though, so no biggie I guess. I did have trouble figuring out how to get to the 9v battery in the keypad, turns out you have to push it up, then it will pull out revealing the battery compartment. Other than that, pretty happy with the safe, just wish it was less expensive.

Great Deal Awesome Safe

I was a little skeptical about ordering a DIY safe but it was a great price so I decided to go for it. Delivery was very fast and only one detail involving the delivery company that SVP was made aware of and acknowledged through quick communication. The hardest part about putting this together was getting it down a flight of outside stairs to the basement by myself. For a 67yo man I thought it wasn’t impossible but it did take some time to move into the basement and the final destination in the room it was going to be set up. Time to build was about 5 hours total over two days. I secured it to the studs after removing the fire blankets from the back wall of the safe. Then it was just a matter of putting the shell together and standing it up and attaching it to the back. The doors were a tad heavy but doable. It looks like it was placed there before the house was finished. I would highly recommend Safe Vault Pros when considering your next safe, They were very easy to work with and delivered on their product. If I ever need another safe, they will be my first call.
