Good basil

Strong germination even under cool conditions. Fragrant and quick growing. I have grown this variety in the past. Easy and productive. Why does anyone purchase basil plants when they are so easy? I even started a ten inch pot right outside my kitchen door for easy access. Pinetree has a good selection for the kitchen garden. Even though New York City is essentially subtropical I appreciate the large selection of short season varieties offered .
