Very Comfortable

I was a little worried that these would be to soft with little forward lean, But I love these bindings. Ride them on my park board, 161W Capita Super DOA. Great pairing, would definitely recommend!

Union Ultras

Hi,l I've been buying snowboards bindings for about 15 years and union is my go to, my last two pairs of bindings that i purchased from Union were Union Contact Pros. They were fantastic comfortable responsive bindings that i very much enjoyed. The new union Ultras that I purchased kind of surprised me as i was under the impression that they would actually be comfortable though with the bottom foot being completely made out of hardened plastic doesn't give you any cushion when coming in off a big jump landing causing foot fatigue and discomfort. Now the responsiveness is quite good I would trade that Nano second faster for some comfort all day long. The plastic (gas pedal) that covers the screws is pretty disappointing as i work on cars all day long being a mechanic i see the same style to hold panels down to click in though it's plastic take it off too much and reattach to often those plastic snap in screw cover is BOUND to break in due time. The traditional screw gas pedal was a way better design in my eyes. My thoughts on the Ultras if i could i would opt to send them back and get something more comfortable as it feels like riding on a 2 by four with the discomfort and zero cushion added. I highly recommend bringing back the Union Contacts as not only I, but a lot of my friends love from the comfort, style, and performance the Contact line added to the Union brand.
