A handsome edition

I bought the edition specifically for the Balbusso twins illustrations which are quite striking. I did find all the explanatory footnotes distracting and largely unnecessary but I'm old and used to British authors sprinkling their stories with period slang and French phrases, so for me that was a minus rather than a plus.

An Absolute Stunner

This is easily a top five AE from Suntup for me. Every aspect of the book is so thoughtful, high quality, and beautiful. The illustrations from The Balbusso Twins are worth the price of admission alone! I can't believe this has not sold out yet.
