I have been building wood models for 2 years and this one was the best experience. The pieces punched out well, went together better than any of the others. And the best thing - it WORKS! Especially with so many moving parts.

If you think it should move, sand and wax it! Definitely test run the parts when the directions advise. The moving parts do not require much wax, just enough to seal the wood pores. Needle nose pliers are a must for reaching in tight areas, but that is true of any on the models I’ve built, and that is close to 30 now. Slip joint pliers are also a must to help squeeze together parts with weaker hands. I have about 5 more steps to completion.

Two parts of one of the gears broke off, making the model useless. It went into the dumpster. A waste of money, and I am a Woodtrick fan. Have built numerous of their kits and been well-satisfied.
