Really tricky to assemble, but quite impressive when finished. However, the offset screw in the gear wheel that operates the pendulum got jammed, and broke off, snapping the wood around the hole, so couldn't be repaired. The touch switch turned the unit on ok, but I had to remove the power lead to stop it. At least the quartz clock movement works OK.
