XKG Field Pant

Tough pants, but not brush pants.

These pants are tough and they are built well. However, none of the materials used are briar resistant. When you are walking through brush, everything clings to them the same as they do a pair of blue jeans. It can actually make it tough to walk when all the brush is clinging to your pants. I have warn these for 3 months now hunting upland birds. They are so covered in burrs that have to be picked off individually that I might just retire them. They have a lot of small thorns that have made it partially through the fabric and now scratch my legs. They do fit comfortably, though.

Just got back from S Dakota pheasant hunt and could not be happier. Pants performed as advertised in thick cattails and brush to flush pheasants that were in thick cover. Thought the side panels/vents were not necessary, but made a difference as the temperature rose later in the day. Impressed with this product and will be putting another pair on my Christmas list!

Field Pants for the Win!!!

Bought these pants for my father. He's an old school dude that thinks more layers is the right place to be when there's a chill in the air. These pants were the gateway to new thinking for him. Much lighter weight than he expected, plenty water resistant while walking through hip high milo searching for pheasant. They did the job well and he couldn't be happier. Glad I introduced him to King's Camo :)
