Kodak Gold is the Gold standard
Kodak Gold 200 (in 120 format) is the sweet spot of quality and price. Portra is a little spendy and cheaper emulsions a little harsh. This is my go to for everything on my 7x6 TLR - and at the Analogue Wonderland price for a pro pack it’s a no brainer!

Solid Gold at 120
I absolutely love Kodak Gold especially on 120. The larger negatives lead to sharper images with less visible grain. The colours are great and with the 120 version I've had a lot of success pushing it giving a lot of flexibility with the extra stop or two of light. I sometimes find the scans from my local lab do come back with an overly gold/yellowish look but it's very easily dialled back.

The film that defines summer.
To me, Kodak Gold is the film that, with it's warmer tones, perfectly defines a summer's day - they haven't named it 'Gold' for nothing. As you may have guessed, I like using outdoors during the warmer months.
