Men’s Performance Fit Merino Wool Boxer Briefs

The best merino(/blend) boxer briefs I’ve tried, and I’ve sampled several brands. Also, kudos for the accessible upward-firing fly opening setup. Had no idea how much better that setup wpuld work and I don’t wanna go back.

I have a pair of Unbound’s take on merino boxer briefs. I like them, but their elastics hold a bunched up shape easily, which creates hot spots on my hips. I’ve been wearing this pair of Ridge boxer briefs for a few days now: despite the waistband feeling very comparable to Unbound’s, I’m not (yet) experiencing that same bunching and tendency for the elastic to hold a bunched shape. Very comfortable. Last, the fly: I’m not typically a fan of the side fly on men’s underwear. Unbound had no fly. These have a bottom to top exit fly. I low key love this design so far. A little concerned about my equipment escaping when excited because anatomically it’s the natural route up and out. But it does make access easy and intuitive when relieving oneself standing up.

Very good at keeping me cool and dry during activity. Also great at not getting smelly, so I can wear them for longer between washes.
