1 year owned, 1 year loved
I don't think I ever got around to reviewing the REP Oxylus. Figured it's a good time to make that right. I've had it a little over a year now and I love it. Prior to this I had a big solid six-beamed rack that I bought from an old school. Loved that rack except it was C-channel and attachments didn't fit it super great, but I mostly focus on things that don't require attachments anyway. When we moved I sold it and told my wife I'd get a smaller rack for the new house. Been eyeing the Oxylus for a while. I hadn't done yoke too much but the couple of times I did it I loved it, and my coach at the time said he hadn't seen anybody giggle while doing yoke before. It just feels awesome. What I bought: - Oxylus + Pullup Bar + Carry Attachment - Round Sandwich J-Cups 2. 0 - Spotter Arms - UHMW Liners - Adjustable Bench - Leg Roller Attachment Build quality. It's a beast and makes me feel like a beast every time I use it. Not sure I can say much more than that. As a squat rack (which is what it is 95% of the time), it's awesome. The spotter arms make me feel safe in there. The whole build is solid enough that I barely budge it when I re-rack weights. No wobble, no drama. Pull-up bar is round and it's metal and you put your hands around it. If I could do a full pull-up I'd probably have a better review but I can hang there for a bit. Hasn't broken yet. Carry attachment is great. It distributes the weight a little behind you in a strange way. The multiple grip handles feel nice but you have to get used to the lean. Either add a little weight to the front or just adjust your grip. And while I've used this thing quite a few times, if I'd used it as much as I intended I'd be a beast right now. But alas, even the neatest of toys don't fix procrastination. 5 stars. But there are a couple of things that, while I don't expect REP to fix my procrastination and motivation issues, making a few things easier would at least take away some excuses. 1. Carry attachment pegs. On the inside of the C-channel there should be a peg on each side sticking out maybe 1 inch, if not all the way through. Slide the attachment on, it clips into place, proper alignment, then you put the locking pins in. This would pretty much make it a one-person swap. 2. Spotter arms for the carry attachment. They should make a set of arms that attach around the carry attachment so you don't always have to take it off to use the rack. The carry attachment is a beast to store and it adds stability when it's on there. Leaving it on and putting spotter arms around it would be fantastic. 3. Yoke attachment alignment. Same interior C-channel pins I mentioned on the carry attachment. Snap in, line up, done. I've thought about taking the carry and yoke attachments to a welder and having them put pins on it but I'm hesitant to mess anything up. Same with the spotter arms. I've thought about making a set that has a top pin above the carry attachment and a bottom pin one hole below it that comes out about halfway. But I lack the skills and don't want to build something that injures me. Even with the recommendations above, 10 out of 10 would recommend as a yoke or just your only rack. Multi-function done right.

Most versatile yoke
We bought the Oxylus Yoke to use as a squat rack instead of a traditional power rack as well as a yoke for strongman training. It offers great versatility in the uses as a squat rack and is balanced and heavy enough to get great yoke runs in. The thickness of the cross bar and durability of the steel means I can load sandbags and stones over it without worry as well. I have already squatted heavy and have had no issues, be sure you have a 36mm socket wrench to really get the bolts secured or it may lean a little bit. Overall fantastic and versatile piece of equipment and undoubtedly one of the best yokes on the market for such a great value.

Time to get yoked
This thing is heavy, solid, and versatile. Feels very secure and the 3x3 uprights enable a lot of possibilities while still being portable. Heavy enough by default that it isn't going anywhere by accident - especially once it is loaded up with weights in squat stand mode.
