I bought the shear cutting finisher as a companion to the simple hollowing system and am very pleased with the results. It cuts onion-skin thin layers off of the bowl, and the results are much better than the Rikon carbide tools I was using. I had a problem with shipping (UPS didn't deliver to a UPS store!) and Simple Woodturning Tools immediately re-shipped the item (at no cost) and I got it 3 says later. I can't speak highly enough of both the quality of the tools and the customer service. They are outstanding!

First time it was terrific and can only get better I turned a piece of Cottonwood just to give it a try and a lot of tear out very soft wood so I tried this sheer scraper it made absolutely smooth I was very impressed can't wait to try it on more exotic Woods
