Great boots

These boots required virtually no breaking in period. Comfortable from day one. Was able to hike 6-8 miles daily over various terrain without any issues. Customer support was also excellent. I experienced a clicking noise from one of the boots while training after about 120 miles. They replaced them immediately which allowed me to maintain my training schedule for an 110 mile high alpine trek over 10 days with 34,000 feet of elevation gain. Oh and I don’t know how they do it but my feet never get hot? Don’t know how they do it. I tried three other high end brands and none were as comfortable or breathable as these. Truly a great experience.

Good boot!

I've been wearing mine breaking them in for an Elk hunt this fall. They already feel like they've formed to my feet. They're very comfortable with good stability. This is my 2nd pair of Meindl hunting boots. Nothing is perfect so I won't rate anything a 5 star ever, but these boots haven't disappointed!

4.1 Hiker

Sam recommended the 4.1 after discussing my need for hunting boots that were cooler wearing than regular insulated hunting boots. Additionally, we spoke about the custom insoles I wear and he recommended the EE size. After decades, I finally have happy feet. The comfort I've experienced wearing the boots is uncomparable.
