Chicken Grit Station

Love this!

Definitely helped when my chickens are free ranging and are too lazy to walk all the way back to the coop for the grit and oyster shells. They went to as soon as i put it out. Love it!

This feeder is easy to assemble and clean. Feeder is customizable giving poultry owners the chance to fill entire feeder with feed or place the tri compartment organizer in allowing you to add feed, grit, calcium, or whatever you choose. Design is compact yet allows for lots of chickens to feed. Got varying ages to your flock, this will fit the young to the older ladies without a problem.

Solidly made, needs some added features

My chickens are free range, and I usually put grit on the ground for them to get so finding it in a container was a change for them that they didn’t transition to. I’ll keep using and see what might happen over time. I liked the roof and drainage holes. I’m not sure the divider is needed, but feel that you could additionally use it for oyster shell, or perhaps two different sizes of grit for a mixed age flock. I found it too low and wishing it had legs or a way to hang it.
