Pet Food Intolerance & Environmental Sensitivity Test

Insight and Information when I needed it.

My cat had been having severe gastric problems that my vet and I were troubleshooting. I saw an ad for 5-Strands, did some research on animal-sensitivity testing products, and decided to use this product. I was very happy that I did. It was easy to use. All I had to do was gather some fur from my cat, send it to 5-Strands, and wait for the report to appear in my email. It took about 7 days for the report to arrive in my inbox. The report was very easy to understand and provided me with valuable information I could use immediately. I stopped giving her Salmon because it was a major allergen for her, as well as other fish used in cat food. I did have to Google other fish used in cat food. I became friends with many of the staff members at my local Petco by returning the food she could not eat and finding food she could eat. It significantly reduced her gastric issues. We are still working on some other gastric issues with her and hope to have them resolved soon. We don't realize that pet food has as many additives as human food and can cause issues for our pets. This report really helped me get answers. I read the labels much more and put back items until I can research them more at home before buying them. Cat food is expensive, and I do not like wasting money if my cat is going to throw it up, which makes her sick. The money I spent on this report has saved me money on cat food and vet bills. Blood tests for allergies are expensive through a vet. If you want information about your animal, use this test. It's worth it!

My dog had been getting recurrent ear infections that my vet thought might be related to food. I had a friend that recommended trying the 5Strands tests to see if my dog had some intolerances, as she had found the tests very helpful with her own dog. She was able to explain the results to me and suggest food and supplement options that would work for my dog. She even provided a complete summary of our conversation. My vet was very impressed.

My cat’s allergies

Well, at the moment I’m waiting for the process to begin as far as his health. I just changed his diet and that was mostly the purpose of his allergies the way they are. So I understand it takes up to 6 to 8 weeks until in the meantime, I’ll go ahead and monitor him as I go along, but I think getting this information will help us and the process was really easy and information was very helpful. So I think it’s just a matter of time and we’ll be looking at a different cat. A more healthier cat.
