The shape of the weight doesn’t easily penetrate thick, matted vegetation very well in my opinion.

My experience has been the shape of these weights inhibit there ability to penetrate matted grass when punching. It seems to protect the knot well. I can’t recommend them

Does not penetrate mats as advertised. Does protect knot and head of bait
