Perfect Sleep Chair & Lift Chair

JOURNEY MADE IT BETTER...

I wrote a review about a week ago and only gave the perfect sleep chair three stars because of a couple of issues we had with it. #1 - after about two years, the leather had "lightened" in a very large area and I considered trying to re-dye it, but was afraid it would look worse than it did. #2 - we never received a user's manuel although we paid for "white glove delivery" for what is a very expensive recliner. I knew it had back up power in case of power outage, but we didn't know if it had a lifetime lithium battery or what since we had no manuel and I wasn't getting anywhere clicking to try to reach the online owner's manuel. The next day I received a call from a very nice, pleasant, helpful young lady named Barbie. She explained some issues about the leather fading and one that "hit home" was the fact that a person using certain medications could be the cause of the leather fading - which I had no idea. My husband spends a lot of time in it so with medications, sweat, whatever could contribute to that. Barbie very kindly told me that if I wanted to go online and find a recliner cover that I liked to cover the chair that they would pay for it. It took quite a bit of looking to find something nice that would still show some of the leather and nice features of the chair and would still cover the large ugly area. They arrived yesterday and I am satisfied that the chair looks much prettier than it did. She also sent an email with a link for the owner's manuel which I promptly printed and tucked into the chair storage pocket. I also (with Barbie's help) found the place to insert the batteries for power backup so my husband wouldn't be trapped in it if the power went out. So, I am now satisfied as much as I can be with the chair looking much better, but I would never buy it in leather again for a person who takes several medications and spends a lot of time in it. Also, happy with Barbie's help in finding the place for the batteries and the link to the online owner's manuel. Peace of mind is great! Thanks to Barbie and Journey for addressing our proble so quickly!

Delivered as promised in an acceptable time frame. Delivery staff competent and chair meets expectations and then some. I am very pleased with the outcome.
