COLOMBIA: EL TAMBO

This coffee was recommended to us by our local barista at Smalls in Hamilton and it immediately became our new fave; it’s smooth and rich without being bitter. We really are not fans of dark roast so this suits us perfectly

I've been buying only Sam James coffee beans for the past 6 years. I love the variety of beans available and in particular I enjoy the way the beans are roasted, but not over roasted. The freshness of the beans is also a huge factor in my enjoyment of the coffee I brew using Sam James coffee beans.

I am by no means an expert but I found this to be similar to the Butter Knife, but slightly less strong, and a little more acidic. I prefer the Butter Knife personally, but this was still very good. Notes of nuts and toffee.
