My Truck Is Now Awesome!

Apparently thedieseldudes ran into ECM supply problems because the ECM took a month to get to me. They sent plenty of emails to keep me in the loop while I waited. My 5" exhaust came with some shipping damage so I had to spend some hammer time on 2 of the pipes to get them to fit the other pipes. I have a mega cab and regular bed and had to cut 10" or so off 1 of the exhaust pipes. The exhaust sounds great but you may want to get an exhaust tip so it looks better. I left the EGR installed but unplugged because it looks better. I plan to remove EGR when I install the Banks ram air intake once my checking account allows. Tuner threw the 14101 error. I followed instructions and entered service code 6625 but got a 14076 unable to connect to ECM error. I disconnected the batteries for 20 minutes and tried again and it worked fine. +4mpg on level 1, +2mpg on level 3. Level 3 is very peppy and a little smoke when I kick it. I should have done this years ago.

Great Product, received my exhaust in just a couple days, ECM took a couple weeks. Kit is very easy to install. Dark Iron install video explains it very well. Had quite a time trying to get the ECM tuned with the RaceMeUltra kept throwing a 14000 code, got ahold of RaceMeCanada and they got a new tuner sent to me, had issues with it not wanting to program. They then sent me instructions to fix the files, got the tuner to work and pickup deleted after. Kit went together good, RaceMeCanada was great to work with. Pickup runs amazing would recommend this kit to anyone

Wish I would’ve done it sooner!

Had an issue with the tuner, but customer service was very quick to send me a replacement part and all is good. It’s unbelievable the difference this delete has made from my truck. The sound the power all of it! So far, I am noticing an average of 5MPG better gas mileage. Like I said in the title of the post, I wish I would’ve done this sooner!
