"New York Deli" style is misleading
N.Y. deli style pastrami is made from the "brisket". POTM pastrami is made from the "round". POTM is not as heavily peppered as it`s NY cousin. That being said, it is quite flavorful and an adequate substitution . Please stop referring this to NY deli pastrami. That is a falsehood and an insult to those of us from NYC.

Lean & Mean!
Received my 5 pound order and threw straight into freezer. Was hungry after work and decided to steam 1 pound package straight from the freezer to the steamer. It was ready in 20 minutes. Toasted up some bread, added some French mustard, pickles and voila! The pastrami was lean, tender and not salty! Simply delicious! Looking forward to pounding the other 4 pounds and ordering some more! Great job POTM!
