These guides work really well. It’s helpful that all the spacing is documented and seems to work adequately for any type of Rod action. It is important to follow the guidelines for the distance from the fishing reel to the first guide and the second guide. After that, I go to the tip and follow the recommended microwave guide spacing and work my way back towards the fishing reel. The last one or two running guides I adjust the spacing for a nice transition to the first and second guide I installed first, it’s always nice to have an extra running guide if you need to add one. They are reasonably priced perform very well in both the spinning reel versions and the casting versions. I use to spend a lot of time figuring out what size of guide to use on a custom build, now I just throw these babies on and go. I will buy again. Oh ya, they cast better then all guides I have used. I build to fish, not for show, so dont look to close at the picture.
