It’s not wrong if it works

I am building an ultralight with a Tennessee grip for my wife. I used the LS10A-200 grip that does not have tenon for a butt cap to finish off the grip. I perused the site and came across this butt cap which was close to the dimensions I needed. With a little sanding on the grip it made for a beautiful finishing touch for my wife’s new trout rod
