SUMA Concealment Holster

Not good for off body carry in a bag. The Suma holster is difficult to re holster with. It looks like retention is based on the indent by the takedown lever as well as general friction overall. It seems to require a lot of friction to reliably and securely hold my Glock 19 with Aimpoint COA in order for the pistol to not fall out while secured in a bag for off body carry. I had to really tighten it down which is probably what affects ease of reholstering. Additionally, the hooks on the Velcro are not deep enough to hold a fully loaded G19 with COA. It rips off immediately from the loop lined bag I’m using. It hurts to say since I own a Certum3 too but I can’t trust or rely on the SUMA to 1. Reliably secure the holstered gun and 2. Securely stay mounted to a loop lined bag.

The holster is designed to also accommodate a light and fit both 19 and 45. I carry a 19 without a light. I am finding it difficult to reholster smoothly and consistently. I have other tenicor holsters molded specifically to make and model of gun. I love them. Something is definitely lost by making it somewhat universal.
