The MOREL CAT-328 is the recessed plate version of the CAT-308. The primary advantage of the recessed plate is that it minimizes the mild horn loading coloration that the CAT-308 faceplate creates. There are two versions however: A 110 mm diameter version and a 104 mm version. The 104mm version takes up less front baffle space. The MOREL CAT-328 is a very rugged, high quality tweeter. It can be crossed over at 4KHz, 6dB per octave without burning out. It also has excellent dynamic response without compression and it sounds very detailed and airy.
