Cute Elegant Classy Bridesmaid Dress

I ordered the Jodie Dress in Black Luxe Satin for an upcoming wedding I am the MOH in! For size reference I am ~168 lbs and my bust is 36 DD. I was in search of a dress that provided me enough support up top and this one passed the test. I ordered a M based off reviews (I'm usually a L). It fit and zipped but it was a bit tight and my arm felt restricted. I ended up exchanging the M for a L to see if it felt more comfortable.

Nearly Perfect Dress/Shoulder Straps Need Improvement

This dress is just about perfect. The length for tall girlies alone made me so happy. I’ve struggled for years and years to find dresses long enough for me. I’ve found the perfect lengths in SMYM dresses. Dress is TTS, use the chart! My only issue, and it’s repeated in some other reviews is regarding the straps. There is no grip with the metal that holds the fabric, so the dress straps loosen throughout the night. In addition, I noticed where the strap is looped through the metal piece on the back of the dress, because the base of the metal piece is not sewed down and the fabric is slippy, the metal piece would shift and go sideways at times. Just a design and quality thing that irked me, based on the price of the dress. Otherwise nothing but love for this dress. I’ll wear it again, and probably make permanent alterations myself so I don’t have future issues with the straps.
