Claire Midi Dress ~ Black Luxe Satin

I’ve been looking at this dress for a while and finally bought it. I love it so much! It fits perfectly. I’m 5’2 180 and got a large. I can’t wait to wear it!

Exactly what I needed

I actually purchased this dress in two colors. The champagne and black. I bought it because I was in a rush and knew I wouldn’t have time for alterations. The adjustable ties on the shoulders are so convenient if you need something adjustable, and the back is flexible and stretchy to accommodate for different sizes. I love this dress for weddings, and even used the champagne one as a Maid of Honor.

My jaw dropped!

I had been hunting for a wedding guest dress for weeks and was having zero luck. I am a size 14/16 and am in my 30s; finding formal wear that's not a skimpy homecoming dress or a mother of the bride dress is VERY difficult. I found Show Me Your Mumu on TikTok and decided to bite the bullet and order two dresses to try. Truthfully, I didn't expect much, but when I tried the dresses on, my jaw dropped! They are both gorgeous, so well-made, and fit my curves perfectly. I ended up choosing the Claire dress for the wedding and I'm so excited to wear it this weekend!
