MicroJig router bit makes it easy to create lock miter joints!

The woodworking lock miter bit setup is east when using MicroJig’s® proprietary Center Finding Platform lock miter router bit. This router bit was specially designed to be just slightly taller, and it also identifies the center profile cut of the bit with a built-in permanent level platform. This router bit can accommodate project wood ranging in size from 1/2" (13mm) through 3/4" (19mm) in thickness. This MicroJig® router bit also has a unique feature of automatically cutting a small and necessary “glue well” into both pieces of wood. As a result, it allows the wood glue to stay in place without having it trying to squeeze out and more importantly, it will not hold the lock miter joint open because of the excess glue within the wood joint. I must say, I am very impressed with this specialty router bit in creating perfect lock miter joints every time!
