Love at first try

I was worried about the adjustment period for the women's elevation socks because I had never tried compression socks before. I know everyone's mileage may vary, but I didn't have an adjustment period. I didn't have any itching or break-in skin discomfort (which was a big relief because I have really sensitive skin). They were so helpful and comfortable from the first wear. I wear a size 8.5 mens Altera "Men's Experience Form" running shoe, generally need wide shoes, am about 5'5", and have a 19" calf. I definitely had to come up with a method to get them on because I'm not very flexible and it is a little struggle, but I did about 4 or 5 wide rolls down and slid only the first part of the sock on before pulling/unrolling it up. I do need to fold them over about 3/4" at the top so that it doesn't cause restrictive discomfort right at the knee, but it doesn't seem to constrict at the fold-over point. I've only had these for a few weeks, so I don't know how long they last, but they seem to be well-made and I would be happy to buy these again if I needed them.
