Light material, very comfortable, effective in warming the head in very cold weather. The only issue for me is the material that goes around the forehead and ears felt like it could be tighter especially because I have a high fade haircut. I ordered the size large according to the measurement but it feels more loose then I would like. Also I prefer my whole ears covered including my earlobes. If I would have ordered the size XL, it would cover my entire ears but be very loose on my head. A size M would probably be the tighter fit on my head Im looking for but my earlobes will be more exposed . So Im in this weird size predicament. Otherwise this is an excellent beanie.
