Word of note, I'm an engineer. I want to know if the correction is perceived or scientifically verified. I've taken many color blindness tests with and without the glasses. I have Protan color blindness, which I'm told is less common. Color with and without the glasses is very similar. The tests say that my ability to see red sucks (0-37% without, 37-50% with). With the glasses, it is marginally improved. There really isn't a ton of red in the world. You see a car here or a light there where you say, "Oh wow, that's different", but in general, it doesn't change a whole lot. To me, it really isn't worth $300 for slightly shaded sunglasses.
