Top class, just works out of the box

Installed it. It worked. Controleo3 works entirely perfectly as advertised out of the box. It does overshoot the 250C of the lead free profile rather, up to about 258C. I'd have thought the PID algorithm would get that a bit closer to 250C but maybe I'm expecting too much, and I expect I can hack the profile a bit to bring it down. I didn't bother with the door opening, as this is a small efficient reflow oven I won't be using unattended, though I believe there would be no problem fitting a servo inside the oven behind the control column so it protrudes the door manhandling hook through the lining into the right hand edge of the door, if I decide I want to do this later. This oven is lined with calcium silicate blocks inside with an aluminium lining, and ceramic fibre blanket outside, it has four 325W elements, two top and two bottom, run in pairs to two SSRs (they are 120V and this is a 240V oven). There is a PSU mounted along side the SSRs which I added extra aluminium ducting around to heat protect it a bit more, and give me options if it became too warm, I figured a 5v fan on that back vent would solve any possible issues if I had to go there, but actually that little area gets barely warm. The original oven was 12L size and had two 325W elements (one top one bottom), I acquired two ovens for £30 each so I could rob the elements of both.

The product works perfectly as described. The detailed build guide was such a great help during the building process. My controller came damaged after shipping to Europe. A replacement was shipped without many questions asked. 5/5 Stars!
