Modern Souk Moroccan Tile Stencil

Not as easy as I thought it would be

This stencil is beautiful but it was harder then I thought it would be. My ceiling wasn't even and that made my entire design off by just a little bit when I had to line it up. That made it difficult to keep the pattern and when I got to the edge of the wall that was also hard to line up and it wouldnt lay well around the edge. Overall I am pleased with the outcome. I did have some places that bled but my paint brush was too wet. I used black paint so I had to go over several times and that didn't help the bleeding. Its not perfect but for using the stencils for the first time I think it turned out great for my laundry room

Modern Souk Moroccan Tile Stencil: Cement Floor in Brewery Taproom

Exquisite!!! I knew this pattern would look amazing for a floor- especially going with a dark blue (galaxy) background and a lighter (aged grey) chalkpaint for the stencil...It took me roughly 15 hours to do the floor of our taproom with one stencil; quite laborious. I used one large stencil brush and tried to maintain a (mostly) dry brush technique throughout application. There were minimal runs and it is absolutely gorgeous in person. The best method for placement was starting at one end of the room and doing rows.

Have completed my design as yet. I'm sure it will be great.
