Versatile & great pattern size
My foyer/entryway needed pizazz. Something to add some style, character, and charm. I chose this pattern because I wanted something versatile that could be interpreted as both modern or vintage, depending on useage. What’s fun about this pattern is that i found I didn’t need to do the complete walls for it to look the way I wanted. I treated it as an accent rather than an all over wall pattern. This also reduced the time it took to complete. Definitely recommend spray adhesive- it makes the project so much easier, and helps create crisp lines.

Better than wallpaper!
After considering wallpaper, for a number of logistical reasons, I decided a stencil was best. I’ve never been particularly artistic and when I’ve made attempts, I’ve often failed miserably so this felt like a huge leap for me but I took my time, watched all your videos, chose colors and practiced before painting the wall it’s new base color and going for it. It was 16h of work but I enjoyed the challenge and I’m thrilled with the result. It feels so good knowing that I did this by myself. Feels like permission to explore other artistic projects in the future.

Looks so nice
This stencil was perfect for our bathroom. I used the foam roller and made sure to off-load some paint before rolling on top of the stencil. I did still have some bleeding that I touched up by hand, but not much. Consistent pressure and amount of paint on the roller is key. The hardest part (for me) was the ceiling line. I taped off the ceiling and just rolled the stencil upward to get as close as I could. I am very happy with the results.
